Walt Disney has announced that Disney and Pixar will make eight new 3D animated films in the next four years.
The first digital 3D movie to be released is "Bolt" the story of a dog of the same name that believes he has superhero powers. John Travolta is the voice of Bolt and the popular singe/actress Miley Cyrus is the voice of Bolt's owner Penny in the film, which opens on November 26.
"Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" will be re-released in digital 3D on October 2, 2009 and February 12, 2010 respectively, while "Toy Story 3" will be in theaters on June 18, 2010. The original cast from the previous "Toy Story" films, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack, are returning for the third film, which begins with Andy grown up and getting ready to go to college.
